Our 6 man size
has found much favor with folks who like it's stand-up roominess,
light weight, and bombproof performance.

I used the 6 man tipi on a recent 8 day mountain caribou hunt in northern BC. We had conditions that varied from warm sunshine to snow storms, rain and sleet. We experienced a 1 and 1/2 day gale force wind storm that was pretty extreme. The tent held out for the most part but sustained a tear in the smoke hole and 1 zipper started to pull out at the seam. These were extreme conditions and all in all I was pleased with how the tent/stove worked.

Great shelter, Mine is 15 yrs old and has been on many NM and CO hunting trips, Winter ski trips and Search and rescue missions.
3/1/2015 – I would like to find out the diameter of the stove pipe aperture for this tent. Also for the 4 man tent... I'm just looking . . .
Response From Kifaru Intl.: The stove pipe opening is cut to match the size of the stove you would order. For example, a medium box stove would be 3 1/2" and a large stove would be 4". The same would apply to the four man. We could cut the jack to the size you specify for a stove not made here at Kifaru.
2/26/2015 – I have an 8 man tipi that will easily accommodate 2 cots. Have you set up cots in the 6 man tipi?
Response From Kifaru Intl.: You could use a pair of cots in the 6 man but it would be a bit crowded.
