Day hunter 👍🏻
From Joaquin Courtemanche of Shelter cove, California on 11/26/2016.
I ran this pack for late season archery blacktails and it was everything I had hoped, the arrow sleeve fits my outdoorsmans tripod and Leki trekking poles perfect, in the main compartment I had swaro 15's some grub and my possibles pouch. I attached the guide lid for quick access to rain gear and sheep tarp. A couple belt pouches, my Nalgene carrier and I'm set for whatever unfolds. Thanks for a great pack.
Great versatil pack

I love this pack. Held all my day hunting gear with extra food, water, and emergency bivy/overnight gear. I used the meat shelf with a camp bag to pack in gear for a 6 day solo elk hunt. Didn't get to haul out meat this year yet, but it handles my 100lb sandbag for training hikes very well.

This Is a well made backpack.

Purchased my Apollo for the sole intention of what it's built for, 3D shoots, Train to Hunt events, and as a simple day pack. This is one tough little pack with just the perfect amount of room. Not too bulky to try and compress the extra space when not being stuffed full. For train to hunt I had over 100# in this pack with the ultralight frame and the pack held together wonderfully. I absolutely love all of the gear from kifaru and trust them and their products. They stand by their word and have great customer service.

Purchased to be used in the Train to Hunt Challenge. Very versatile pack. Carried 100lbs and my bow as is with no other accessories. Then held 20 lbs and and securely held the smaller sand bag. Arrows went in the top compartment and did not move even though there is no securing strap. That was uber helpful. Color is awesome and everywhere is stitched to last and hold tons of weight. Very impressive pack.

This pack is a great option for a small pack/day pack. It's ability to hold arrows with field tips is a nice feature, allowing you to shoot like Legolas from Lord of The Rings. The built in shelf allows you to add more gear in between the frame and the pack such as dry bags, and even meat, should you chose to do so. If you decide to run a lid with this setup, you'll need straps/buckles to attach the lid to the top of the frame and to secure it to the bottom of the pack. This is a simple pack with super duper features. And the price is A OK!

This has quickly become one of my favorite day packs, in fact I've sold the others! It holds a surprising amount of gear for all sorts of activities. The roll top has proved to be a unique and effective feature that I'm glad was added for top access. Great bag guys.
2/20/2017 – I purchased the apollo pack and the 24" frame, how do you attach the frame to the pack at the bottom? Thank you!
Response From Kifaru Intl.: Hey Abi,There are 3-bar sliders at the base of the bag and on the meat shelf of the Apollo. You turn either of these sets at an angle and feed through the rectangular common loops towards the bottom of the frame. Let us know if you have any other questions!
8/15/2016 – What frame is this compatible with?
Response From Kifaru Intl.: Hi Chuck -The Apollo is intended to be used with any of our 22" frames.
3/29/2016 – Can you please post pictures of the interior of the bag? Also, can you explain how the arrow sleeve works. Specifically . . .
Response From Kifaru Intl.: Hi Anthony, The interior of the Apollo bag does have a water bladder sleeve, but it does not have a chamber pocket or common loops to attach a chamber pocket. It does have a 3/4" webbing tab loop centered within the bag for hanging a water bladder. As for the arrow sleeve, it is meant for field tips and blunt tips only.
