panel wraps and compresses huge loads like a straight jacket for
game or equipment. Unlike other panels out there, ours can be
used on a wide variety of packs and frames, and the compression
straps are infinitely adjustable - guaranteeing the most versaility
in the business. Remarkably stable, no matter the load you
throw at it.
Tree stands to moose quarters
From john petropoulos of Groton, Massachusetts on 12/23/2016.
Getting ready for a traditional archery moose hunt in AK next year, I was looking for a hauler and a pack but wanted the option to bring everything in a single bag and to go light when we are actually hunting. I ended up with the Mountain Warrior and the Cargo Panel. I will take gear in with the Warrior and then hunt with the Cargo Panel together with the guide lid and a couple of pockets for essentials. I have not had a chance to try this approach out yet but from my testing with bags of coal I am really optimistic. I did have a chance to pack a tree stand and 20' of steps deep into the woods this winter. This is always an unpleasant task as it is all so awkward. The Cargo Panel was able to handle the unusual load with its flexible lashing and compression options. The Guide Lid and pockets sucked up all the required harnesses, straps and lines so that it was all a breeze. While I hate shelling out extra $, that regret disappears the first time I am able to do something that I would never have been able to do with someone else's gear. BTW I did purchase and then return a similar KUIU setup. Their gear was really nicely made and very light. While it may well have held up for a lifetime, it just was not nearly as heavy duty nor as comfortable on my frame as the Kifaru. For a tiny bit more weight I got comfort and confidence that is worth every penny of the difference in price.
Perfect for hunting and hauling
From R Crane of Citrus Springs, Florida on 11/14/2016.
This is great for hauling my climber in and out of the woods and is perfect for packing out hogs. I've got a long pocket on the outside which holds rain gear, layers, gloves, and belt pockets on the inside for smaller stuff. I also have a camp bag and guide lid for longer trips. It really is a fantastic set up, especially if you do not like digging around in a deep bag while 30 feet up in a tree. Simple and highly customizable!

The cargo panel and duplex frame can carry about anything. If you don't like extra pockets and want a simple thought out design with options to add, this is the setup. Adding the grab-it and camp bag make it the ultimate mountain pack.
From Anonymous of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on 7/15/2016.
Well built product, attaches quick and easily. Has so much Utility that you can use it in just about every situation possible. The only thing I wish it had was wings that wrapped around to the sides. So that you could place more pockets or any PALS gear on the sides.

Great product very durable and versatile.

The Kifaru Cargo Panel system is a simple, rugged and truly outstanding piece of kit. If you are in need of a pack frame cargo hauler this beavertail really helps to better manage just about any load.I especially like the K-Clip straps that come with it (also sold separately) They are very versatile and will work with just about any pack frame out there - with or without the cargo panel itself.
Nothing it can't do
From Don Carpenter of Midwest, Illinois on 1/9/2016.
After using the cargo panel for a hunting season I have yet to find a task that it can't accomplish. I have it attached to the tactical Duplex. I use it for everything from short day hunts to overnight and extended trips with the addition of the camp bag, and guide lid. You can add anything molle to the exterior of the panel and other Kifaru accessories on the inside. The straps are plentiful and useful; if you don't need some they store in the built in pocket. This thing hauls tree-stands, downed game, training weight, and anything else with the utmost stability.
From Karl of Aloha, Oregon on 12/27/2015.
I did not use this as was intended by Kifaru... I strapped this to the bare frame of a different maker that I love, and it made it 150% better than before! great stuff guys!!
From Dan of Columbia Falls, Missouri on 12/20/2015.
The cargo panel, combined with the light weight duplex frame, is now my go to day hunting pack for whitetail hunting. Dressed with a large long pocket on the exterior and a smaller ku long pocket on the interior, the cargo panel was a great addition to my pack collection. My wife's Montana whitetail was the test run for the cargo panel and it shined. Two hind quarters-bone in, two backstraps and the neck meat plus gear - 60+ pounds, made the two mile trek perfectly. No load shifting at all. Nicely done kifaru.
The most useful addition to your Duplex frame.
From ton45 of Montreal, Quebec on 10/17/2015.
I've had my Cargo Panel for around 3 years now. It is the most flexible accessory for EMR and frame. Since the Kifaru duplex frame is what makes the Kifaru brand the best in the market the Cargo Panel adds on to the multifunction possibility of the frame. My Cargo Panel has been and will be exploited to my modding potential for years to come. It's very awesome!

Great item to pack in or out those extras. My son used his to hike out my ram.
From Anonymous of Colorado Springs, Colorado on 9/11/2015.
I purchased the cargo panel to use for weighted pack training and for the "Train to Hunt" competitions. It has worked quite well for me and is easy to load up with sandbags while keeping a streamlined tidy profile while training. If you hunt fairly close to your vehicle and like using a smaller day pack the majority of the time, I think the cargo panel on a duplex frame would be a great pack board to have ready to go in the truck.
From Anonymous of Grant, Michigan on 5/28/2015.
This is one of the best products you sell. With pouches, pockets, a dry bag, or camp bag there isn't anything that you couldn't do. You can replace several packs with the cargo panel and some pouches. Compresses down nice and tight yet ready to haul meat when needed, or anything else.
Cargo Panel - use
From Anthony Jones of RIverside, California on 5/8/2015.
Interesting and innovative idea... I've attached this to my Bikini pack frame - and have used it in conjunction with the camp bag and the hunting top lid... makes this overall pack set up incredibly versatile for smaller outings or longer ones (I haven't used it for longer than a 2 day one yet - but I had lots of extra capacity for adding things). Great piece of kit... excellent design and I like the ability to add pods, or molle attachable bags to both the outside and the inside of the cargo panel. The compression capability is amazing to use as well to increase the stability of what you're carrying. Again - GREAT JOB!... All the VERY BEST!Anthony Jones
A must have for the Duplex Frame
From Mike of Elizabeth, Colorado on 4/20/2015.
This is a must have for hunting in the backcountry. Loaded up with pockets (sold separately) it works with your frame to serve as a daypack, then enables you to haul out your game after a successful hunt. Thanks Kifaru.
