Great
From Kyle Luleff of Jber, Alaska on .
I bought the sheep tarp to replace an issued poncho. I’ve taken it out black bear hunting and for training and it’s performed awesome. I have fit two people under it with our packs elsewhere, it was tight but worked fine even in the rain.
Always in the pack

Always in my pack. Rain or shine , many uses. Saved me more than once.
Great Kit Item
From Terry P of Napa, California on .
I purchased a sheep tarp for a deer hunt in the Idaho panhandle. Weather went from 40s to 20s, with wind, rain, sleet, and snow. The sheep tarp was light and quick to set up and breakdown. Using shooting sticks and the included 550 cord as guy lines I was able to ride out any foul weather, keeping myself and gear completely dry. It beat back everything nature threw at it. With the pack size and weight it should be in every hunters pack.
Amazing
From Howard Robertson of Fort Drum, New York on .
I bought this tarp as a sub for my Army issue poncho. I am an Active duty Army Infantryman. I am too tall to fit under my poncho and also have my gear stay dry. I use this as my hooch and am able to stay dry and fit my gear under too. It is longer than a regular poncho. It is light weight and very durable. Used it in a snow storm in Fort Drum. My new favorite. Going to buy one more for biving.
Light and Compact
From Mark Lillie of Gallup, New Mexico on .
This tarp is light and compact. The built in carry bag is nice in that it will never become separated from the tarp. I do not understand why the price is so high, but it is a great piece of kit nonetheless.
Sheep Tarp

As advertised...very lite and does the job very well.
First time tarp buyer
From Emory of Vancouver, Washington on .
The Sheep Tarp is my first tarp purchase of any kind. I bought it to have on me at all times, to serve as an emergency shelter, and to use it to protect any gear that I need to cover. The quality of the tarp is as expected from Kifaru and certainly top notch. It's a small tarp and usable for one person and gear. You'll be hard pressed to fit two people under there.
This tarp is perfect for having on you at all times, packs down small, and is exactly what you need without being too much.
Awesome product!

Highly Recommended kit
From George I Nelson of Geneseo, Illinois on .
I really enjoy tarp camping. I have various tarps of different sizes and shapes. The kifaru sheep tarp is my newest tarp and it's great for different configurations. Perfect size for my day pack. It's practically weightless but very durable. Used it on the river to river area in southern Illinois and it's flawless.
Sheep Tarp
From Jeff of Anchorage, Alaska on .
Utilized the sheep tarp on a brown bear hunt in Alaska that had several days of rain, mist and high winds. Utilized the sheep tarp as cover to allow glassing during these inclement weather periods. The sheep tarp performed exceptional and would recommend to anyone wanting a light weight option for a shelter.
