Water Bottle Pocket
From Kurt of MPLS, Minnesota on 1/23/2017.
Just what I was looking for I don't like a bladder and my water bottle fits in this thing perfectly. Always well made from Kifaru.
Best water bottle holder
From Chris Maxwell of Okotoks, Alberta on 1/23/2017.
Awesome holder and secures the bottle. I have lost a bottle or 2 before but the strap over the top on this one is perfect! Well built and fits my MSR bottle just right
Great bottle holder
From John Vogh of San Diego, California on 12/18/2016.
Thanks for another quality product made in America. Fits great and functions great. I don't use the top strap to hold the bottle in place. I tried it out for 50 miles in all kinds of terrain and never had a problem with my bottle falling out.
Exactly what I was looking for
From Steven Peterman of Billings, Montana on 11/21/2016.
Great water bottle pocket. Holds a 32 oz Nalgene bottle perfectly. Really easy to attach to my Mystery Ranch pack. I can easily get the water bottle out with one hand while pack is on.
From Anonymous of Seal Beach, California on 11/10/2016.
It just works. I bought one for me and my son's pack. Easy one handed operation. I was able to hydrate without dropping primary weapon.
From Paul Kuphall of Hustisford, Wisconsin on 11/7/2016.
This bottle holder fits a 32oz Nalgene perfectly. The bottle slips in and out with ease but is not sloppy and is held secure with the attached strap. The strap is also long enough to fit over my Humangear Cap Cap that I put on my Nalgene aftermarket.
what can i say...it carries water bottle
From David Maher of Cave Creek, Arizona on 11/7/2016.
works great....no more digging in my pack for water...I hate water bladders usually I carried plastic water bottles in pack...this is far easier and NO NASTY bladder taste in my Nalgene bottle
From SHAWN SAMPSON of YORBA LINDA, California on 11/5/2016.
Worked out exactly as I expected. Once your bottle is locked in you can cartwheel down the mountain and once you recover your pack your bottle will be there when you need a drink. Very well done Kifaru.
From mike wygovsky of Trinidad, Colorado on 10/24/2016.
Added this cause I was too lazy to take my pack off to get water! easy access and now stay hydrated!
water bottle pocket
From David G Schneider of Melbourne, Kentucky on 9/29/2016.
This item works very well on my Nomad. Use it nearly every day.
From BH of San Francisco, California on 9/19/2016.
I go back and forth between using a Nalgene or water bladder during hunts. I generally use both in some ways, especially given I use gravity filters in the backcountry. But I like to add things to my water (flavor, electrolytes, etc), which is always done in a Nalgene because you can clean it (not good idea in bladders).Finding a bottle holder that secures to my pack was surprisingly difficult. Everything at REI, EMS and other stores was crap. Kifaru's was a great addition to the pack. It's intended for Molle mounting, which my pack does not have. But I was able to "MacGyver" it to secure this to my hip belt using some straps. Very secure, very quiet (good enough for archery hunting), etc. Fits the bottle very tight, so much so it's sometimes a little hard to pull out. Product recommendation for improvement - 1) Maybe add a secondary loop on the bottom in the center, on top of the existing strap across the bottom, so you can grab it with your thumb to hold the pocket down while you pull the top of the bottle with the other hand. You can't pull your bottle out with one hand, always takes two and a little awkward if you put it further back on your waist belt. 2) Provide a means of securing these to any horizontal waist strap. I connected the Molle clips with two other straps and ran my hip belt strap through it, but you should think this in the design.
From chris of lamont, Michigan on 9/19/2016.
Needed one of these for a long time! At first the pocket was a tight fit for a Nalgene bottle(32oz), I had a hard time getting it back into the pocket. However, after a few days in the field it "stretched" a little making it much easier. Also, if you are someone who wraps duct tape around there Nalgene bottle, find a new location. My Nalgene would not fit into the pocket, even with one wrap of tape around the bottle. Overall, the pocket is great, would not hesitate to order another.chris <><
Product good, shipping questionable
From Cody of Spring Creek, Nevada on 9/15/2016.
Product does what it is supposed to in holding a nalgene type bottle. Well built and hooks onto my EMR II no problem. My only complaint was the shipping time for an in stock accessory. I ordered it 13 days in advance of a hunting trip to Canada. I had to call several times as I was creeping in on the day to leave. I called a few days before I was to leave and it had not shipped. They said they would ship it that day and SHOULD be there before I left. Not a very confident answer but it did show the day before I left.

Excellent addition to my pack options. Perfect fit for a 32oz Nalgene bottle!
Who doesn't like drinking from a cup
From Jason Herrera of San Jose, California on 9/13/2016.
Great Nalgene water bottle holder. I put it on the waist belt for easy access. I've ran with it full of water and the bouncing was very minimal, great design. Plus it also fits a 32oz Gatorade bottle.
From Mike W of Colorado Springs, Colorado on 9/13/2016.
The water bottle pocket is perfect, fits the bottle great, has a nice holder and is built like tank like everything else kifaru does.
Definitely worth the money
From Joaquin Courtemanche of Shelter cove, California on 7/24/2016.
Hunting in an area with water available a couple times a day allows me to use this with a steripen and quickly fill up on water without removing my pack.

From Anonymous of Twin Falls, Idaho on 4/22/2016.
Nalgene fits very good and is a great addition to my pack. I used to stuff my Nalgene in the top and always fight to get it. Not anymore!!
Water Bottle Pocket
From Jeff Mazur of Taylor, Michigan on 4/11/2016.
This attachment is very handy. It keeps my water bottle accessible yet out of the way. It's the perfect accessory to your Kifaru pack. I'd recommend this to anyone with a Kifaru pack.
Water bottle pocket
From James Shackelford of Modesto, California on 4/5/2016.
I recently purchased one of the water bottle pockets for my new set up. So far it's been an excellent addition. It allows for easy access to your bottle and with the adjustable strap over the top it keeps your bottle from rattling around or from falling out. Just another awesome product from Kifaru.
Kifaru Nalgene Bottle Pocket
From Kenneth Bartlett of Steeple Bumpstead, England on 1/25/2016.
Well made and fits very securely to my frame's waist belt [buckle slightly tricky to click shut one-handed, but that's a very small observation]
From Tj Perez of Phoenix, Arizona on 1/17/2016.
Highly recommend this if you have a Nalgene water bottle or want to run your tripod or trekking poles in it! This pocket is easy to access even when on the side of your pack and not having to take the pack off! Definitely should be added to your cart!TJ Perez
simple and effective
From David Hay of Edmonton, Alberta on 1/6/2016.
Nice addition to my bag works simple and does its job effectively, plus North American made is always a plus on gear. Thumbs up for sure.
Durable Water Bottle Holder
From Regnar of Winchester, Virginia on 12/30/2015.
I purchased the Water Bottle Pockets to fit my 40 oz Klean Kanteens. The water bottle pockets retain the canteens at just the right height so your natural arm swing does not strike the canteen. Additionally, the 500D Cordura material of the holder combined with the lock and load mounting system makes a very durable water bottle holder. The compression strap easily fits over the top of the canteen and can be removed if desired. I gave the water bottle a 4 out of 5 star rating because the miniature fastener on the compression strap can be difficult to fasten one handed at times. Not a show stopper by any definition, but perhaps an elastic cord/loop might prove a bit easier to use one handed. However, the compression strap does not preclude me from buying additional water bottle holders if I ever need to replace the holders I already own.
From Josh Chadd of Forsyth, Montana on 12/27/2015.
As anyone who spends any amount of time in the outdoors can attest, staying hydrated is a top priority. With this handy little pouch it is easy to access your water while you are out and about. It also has a strap to keep your bottle secure. This is a must have for anyone who spends any amount of time hiking/hunting!
Water Bottle Pocket
From Anonymous of Toronto, Ontario on 12/21/2015.
Heavy duty. Good quality. Only issue is I will have to take off some of the duct tape I like to keep wrapped around the nalgene for repairs.
Does the job.
From David of Placitas, NM, New Mexico on 11/16/2015.
High quality and good fit! it is nice to be able to reach a drink of water right on your hip belt without struggle. My only gripe would be that on mine the buckle strap that goes over the bottle would not lock, this is a moot point as the bottle stays in place without it. I don't need any more steps between me and a drink anyway so I removed it. You don't have to cut it, there is a removable attachment point on the back.
From Anonymous of Goldsboror, North Carolina on 11/16/2015.
I just took this product on a 10 day elk hunt in San Juan National Forest, CO. and it performed great! Being able to mount my water bottle to my belt opposed to carrying it on my back; was not only more comfortable, but it was also extremely convenient! Thanks Kifaru for another great product!
Water bottle pouch-get this!
From Justin Spicher of Ft Leavenworth, Kansas on 10/15/2015.
Used two of these dudes on a hunt recently. They hold 32oz Nalgene bottles as well as the 40oz kleen kanteens. It'll also hold an elk bugle!
From Anonymous of Nowhere in particular, California on 10/6/2015.
This fits a 40-ounce stainless steel wide-mouth Klean Kanteen perfectly. The strap slips through the finger loop on the cap and ensures the bottle will NEVER come out unless you want it to. You can also use the old style narrow mouth Klean Kanteen bottle but you have to secure the strap around the side/neck of the bottle rather than through the finger loop so it's not as secure. There is NOT enough room to have any type of nesting cup along with the Klean Kanteen.
From Brett Robertson of Oshkosh, Wisconsin on 9/28/2015.
Fit perfectly on the duplex belt. Worked great for a full size Nalgene bottle. I can't see ever being able to wreck this product, so maybe modify the design to make it lighter weight. Another bullet proof product from Kifaru.
Nice Water bottle pocket
From Shawn Stimmel of Hubert, North Carolina on 9/26/2015.
This pouch is really nice! Easily and quickly attaches to the belt on my Duplex frame. The pocket is large enough to put a REI titanium Nalgene cup and still holds the nalgene firmly in the pocket.
From Dave Widdifield of Calgary, Alberta on 9/13/2015.

Great addition to Kifaru Spike Camp pack. Love it.
Great addition to my pack
From Anonymous of Buckley, Washington on 7/12/2015.
This has been a great addition to my pack. Easy, one handed operation. I'll probably get another one and leave the bladder at home.
From Chris C of Jonesboro, Arkansas on 7/6/2015.
great, does just what its supposed to! Holds a Nalgene bottle securely, also works great as a Nalgene bottle cozie in the off season while out shooting my bow in warmer climates.
Water bottle pocket
From Anonymous of STL, Missouri on 7/5/2015.
Works great! Just as advertised and finished off the gap in my pack from Kifaru. If you use a Nalgene bottle it's a no-brainer. Enjoy.
Holds a water bottle
From Flapjack of Forest Grove, Oregon on 7/4/2015.
Works as it should. I've found with a little elbow grease you can fit a snow peak 700 Ti cup into it, and your Nalgene can nest inside the cup. Hopefully it will stretch a little with time.
water bottle pocket as advertised
From Anonymous of Hamburg, Pennsylvania on 6/30/2015.
Has worked as advertised. It allows for easy access for a drink and also saves room inside your pack. Very well built. For the price of the packs, I wish Kifaru would include this attachment with the pack.
Water Bottle Pocket.
From Mark Miller of Fayetteville, North Carolina on 6/4/2015.
Very well made. Only change I would make would be putting the hold down clip on the other end.
Same great quality
From William Mulleady of New Durham, New Hampshire on 6/1/2015.
Same quality as the pack I bought. Nice to see consistency in quality
From Shane Tyrrell of Browns Plains, Australia on 5/10/2015.
Very sturdy construction. Holds the 1 litre wide mouth bottles firmly in place - no movement when stalking game. Excellent product.
Late Season Hydration at its Best
From Anonymous of Powell, Wyoming on 5/4/2015.
Late season in Wyoming is brutal cold. Every hydration bladder that I have used, the hose freezes within an hour. These pouches combined with the Nalgene bottles usually stay drinkable for most if not all day and is my go-to for late season hydration.
From Anonymous of Tomah, Wisconsin on 1/24/2015.
I like the versatility of this product. It WILL fit a 1 1/2 liter pop bottle in it. With that being said, the strap will not secure the said item. I would suggest lengthening the strap which goes over the bottle another 4-6 inches and to prevent it from dangling loose, I would place a strip of Velcro below the "Kifaru" logo or just lower the placement of the current attachment to that area.
From Xavier Bell of Radstock, England on 1/17/2015.
It carries my Nalgene on my belt. Easy to access while I walk, and no danger of it slipping out. Bomb-proof.
From Jarad of Spokane, Washington on 1/5/2015.
This is a good product well built. But I wish it was slightly bigger. I carry a canteen cup that my water bottle nests in however it doesn't fit in the pouch which means it now has to take up space in my pack. Other than that it's a good product and the closest thing to what I could find to what I wanted.
From Anonymous of Phoenix, Arizona on 1/1/2015.
As usual a very well thought out product very well built. Securely holds your Nalgene or like bottle for quick access. Very happy with the addition to my Duplex pack frame.
9/2/2016 – will the water bottle pocket easily attach to the waist belt of a Molle pack? Thanks,
Response From Kifaru Intl.: Hi David,Yes, the water bottle pocket will work on Molle packs. These will require either three continuous rows of webbing or two rows with a gap between rows.
1/21/2016 – How many rows and channels on a pals grid to attach these? Thanks
Response From Kifaru Intl.: Hi James,The water bottle pockets require 3 rows of pals ( the center row is not used) and 3 channels of pals (center channel is not used).
